glorious day

We've been in a drought for quite some time now. The temperature hasn't really fallen below 100° during the day for about a month, maybe longer. Yesterday, however, we had a large storm wander across Oklahoma and stick around all morning. It rained, thundered, lightninged and stayed really dark the entire morning. That said, the temperature for most of the morning and afternoon stayed in the high 60s! I wanted more than anything in the world to sit on my back porch with a cup of coffee and prop my feet up and relax, maybe read a book....but, we don't have a back porch; therefore, we have no back porch furniture, no way to prop my feet up, and I'm not really supposed to have coffee, either. So, while my fantasy wasn't at all obtainable, I did enjoy the cool weather nonetheless. And, I even got Rob to unwillingly practice his photo skills on me! :)
