Not enough space..

Very random stories to follow..

Baby is definitely running out of room in my tummy. I can feel every move and I'm peeing even more because baby is constantly on my bladder.

I don't know if any of you believe that lunar cycles affect our bodies or anything like that, but tomorrow there will be a new moon. Hopefully, this will bring the arrival of baby! If not, the next full moon will not be until 4 days after my due date on February 7. That's just too far away!

I baked ginger cookies yesterday hoping they would induce labor. It didn't happen. However, I think I quenched my craving for sweets for a year by stuffing my face with them until I couldn't stand it any longer. The cookies are awesome and you can find the recipe here. I use butter instead of cricso and they turn out amazing! :)

Today, I was disappointed to find out that I was, in fact, not born in the year of the dragon, as I'd originally thought. I was excited that my mom, myself, and the baby would all be born in the year of the dragon, but I was mistaken. Apparently, in 1988, the year of the dragon didn't begin until February 17, which is 17 days after I was born. So, I'm actually from the year of the rabbit (which I find actually suits me better anyway).

I accomplished something HUGE today! I painted my toenails! If you've ever been pregnant, you know what a feat this can be. It requires lots of crazy bending and twisting of the body and is not comfortable in the least. But, I did it and I'm super proud of my bright red toes! :)

Also..my hands smell funny and I've washed them at least five times. :/

OH! I have a picture that we took of my pregnant nakedness that I'm debating whether I should post on here or not. It shows absolutely nothing private, because I have all of that covered very tastefully with hair and arms and blankets, but I thought it was a great picture to show off the pregnancy and didn't know if it would be offensive or not to anyone? Thoughts?
